The world’s first ever conference into robots and sex is about to begin. ‘Technology and Intimacy: Choice or Coercion?’ will see a team of top scientists from around the globe gather to discuss artificial intelligence and romance. The event is the first to explore how technology influences the ways humans express intimacy. Dr David Kreps, from Salford University, said the conference will consider the latest research and theories about how humans engage with robots, artificial intelligence (AI) and other forms of technology to explore issues of intimacy and sexuality.
