World Renowned Neuroscientists Join Western University

Two big names in the field of cognitive neuroscience are coming to Western University to continue their internationally recognized work. Tim Bussey and Lisa Saksida have spent the last 15 years at the University of Cambridge researching and specializing in understanding the process of learning, memory, perception and attention. The husband and wife team has been working to develop and discover new techniques to better investigate what happens in the human brain when patients suffer from diseases like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. “Diseases of cognition are some of the most worrying right now.
