Woman found dead in Avon Gorge named as Bristol University neuroscience student Lara Nosiru

Comments (4) A woman who was found dead in the Avon Gorge on Monday night has been named as Bristol University student Lara Nosiru. Ms Nosiru, a final-year student studying neuroscience, is believed to be the fourth Bristol University student to have taken their own life in as many months. Three other students – Daniel Green, Kim Long and Miranda Williams – have killed themselves since the start of the academic year in September. Emergency services were called to the Clifton Suspension Bridge and Avon Gorge around 4pm on Monday, January 30, after reports that a woman had jumped.
