Wirral’s Riverview Law buys US-based artificial intelligence company

A Merseyside-based legal services firm has acquired a US artificial intelligence (AI) software developer. Riverview Law in Bromborough has bought New Jersey firm Clixlex for an undisclosed sum to take forward its ambitions to introduce AI into legal work. The firm hopes the use of AI will improve the quality and speed of lawyers’ and paralegal work while freeing them to focus on key tactical and strategic matters. It follows the partnership Riverview Law entered into earlier this year with the University of Liverpool to leverage the university’s AI expertise.
