Watch a movie directed by an artificially intelligent machine

Could the director’s cut in the future mean “the director is cut” if artificial intelligence (AI) takes over? Filmmakers in Hollywood have shot a movie called Sunspring, written and directed by a machine called Jetson. Filmmaker Oscar Sharp and technologist Ross Goodwin fed Jetson, a Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) recurring neural network (RNN) Artificial Intelligence, with hundreds of sci-fi TV and movie scripts. These included Godzilla, Ghost Busters, Event Horizon, I Am Number 4, The Fifth Element, Hell Boy, Highlander and Gattaca, to name a few. Recruiting actors that include the star of the HBO show Silicon Valley Thomas Middleditch, they gave themselves 48 hours to shoot and edit whatever Jetson decided to write.
