VOX POPULI: Will highly advanced artificial intelligence be kind to mankind?

Robots waging war against the human race, which created them, is a common plot in science fiction movies. An early dramatic work on this theme was “R.U.R. (Rossum’s Universal Robots),” a play composed by the Czech writer Karel Capek (1890-1938).
