Volunteers wanted for Neuroscience study (± 12 visits, /hour)
The Gazzaley Lab at UCSF is looking for healthy volunteers, 19-29 years old, for an EEG training study that involves playing a cognitive task on a computer. We are looking for volunteers who are right-handed, and who do not play video games for more than 5 hours per week.
We will initially make an appointment in the upcoming weeks for a single lab visit, using EEG equipment. The session will last approximately two hours: one hour preparation time, and one hour of measurements during which you will perform a computer task. We will then ask you to come into the lab for one MRI session.
Based on the first session, we will ask you to return to our lab for 10 more visits, each lasting approximately 2 hours. These visits will take place over the summer and fall.
As the amount of lab visits for this study is demanding, it might be a good idea to think about your availability in the upcoming months before signing up for this study.
You will be compensated for your time with $15 per participated hour. All lab visits will take place at the Sandler Neurosciences Center at Mission Bay Campus.
If you’re interested in participating, please let me know by sending an email.
