VIDEO: Robotic Artificial Intelligence Passes College Entrance Exam

An artificial intelligence program developed by the National Institute of Informatics can now go to college after passing a college entrance exam. The Wall Street Journal reports the AI program got an above-average score on Japan’s standardized entrance exam. Its score was high enough that if it wants to go to college it has an 80 percent chance to get into 441 private universities and 33 national universities in Japan. And just like any student, the AI had to worm hard and study for four years before it took the test. The institute created the AI in 2012, with plans on developing it to ace the National Center Test for University Admissions by 2016.
