Turkey Re-Imposes A Curfew In Cizre

The authorities in Turkey re imposed a curfew late Sunday in the predominantly Kurdish southeastern town of Cizre only a day after they’d lifted it. The town, which lies on the border with Syria, was closed off as Turkish troops carried out a counter-terrorism operation against the Kurdish militant group, the PKK. A clear picture of what happened during the curfew in Cizre is still emerging.
