Toyota is partnering with the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute to produce further advances in robotics, artificial intelligence and autonomous-driving technologies. As part of its commitment to furthering advances in artificial intelligence, robotics and autonomous-driving technologies, Toyota is entering into a partnership with the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute. The $22-million project is the latest in a series of collaborative efforts Toyota has entered into since the launch of its own research institute a year ago. “We look forward to collaborating with the University of Michigan’s research faculty and students to develop new intelligent technologies that will help drivers travel more safely, securely and efficiently,” said Gill Pratt, CEO of the Toyota Research Institute.
