The World’s First USB Supercomputer Has Gotten Facebook Inc.’s (NASDAQ:FB) AI Director Gushing

Fathom, a USB device, with a deep learning chip inside that works just like a supercomputer has gotten the tech industry big wigs gushing over it, including Facebook Inc.’s (NASDAQ:FB) AI Director, Yann LeCun. According to him, with Fathom, robots and other devices, whether big or small, can now have highly advanced vision capabilities. Pete Warden, Google’s Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOGL) technical lead for artificial intelligence also praised the Fathom. According to him, the Fathom has greatly advanced the science of deep learning by enabling complex neural networks to run inside deep learning Frameworks, such as Google TensorFlow.
