As wide-scale corporate adoption of AI approaches, CIOs have to be prepared to sort fantasy from revenue-generating future. Salesforce.com, which reported a disappointing financial forecast for the quarter Wednesday, plans to reveal details next month of an artificial intelligence project, called Einstein, that it says will make its software and services smarter, reports The Wall Street Journal’s Rachael King. “With artificial intelligence, Salesforce.com hopes to be able to help its customers understand which sales prospects are the best opportunities.
