The Future of the Workplace

In a recent 300-page report, Bank of America boldly predicts that robots and other forms of artificial intelligence will transform the work world beyond recognition as soon as 2025.  If this comes to pass, old business models will be destroyed in the process.  The report estimates that robots will take over 45% of all jobs in manufacturing and shave $9 trillion from labor costs within the next decade. “The pace of disruptive technological innovation has gone from linear to parabolic,” says Bank of America.  They say that any country that fails to embrace the robot revolution will slip rapidly behind other countries.
