Tenure track position in behavioral neuroscience

Assistant Professor Department of Psychology School of Humanities & Sciences Ithaca College Ithaca College’s Department of Psychology invites applications for a tenure track position in behavioral neuroscience beginning August, 2016.  The teaching load is three undergraduate courses per semester, and primary teaching responsibilities will likely include Behavioral Neuroscience, Senior Seminar in Neuroscience, and Research Methods, as well as other courses based on departmental needs.  Advising of undergraduate psychology majors and neuroscience minors is also required.  The successful candidate will have access to dedicated lab space, and will be expected to develop and maintain a research program using animal models of behavior and supervise undergraduates in that research setting.  Qualifications:  Ph.D. in behavioral neuroscience or closely related field is preferred by the time of appointment, although consideration will be given to strong…
