Telstra invests in US-based app delivery firm Instart Logic

Australia’s largest operator Telstra made a strategic investment in Instart Logic, a provider of next-generation application delivery services used to improve the performance and security of websites and applications. The investment in the Palo Alto-based firm was made through the operator’s investment unit, Telstra Ventures. The size of the investment was not disclosed. Telstra Ventures MD Mark Sherman said given that mobility continues to be one of the top trends in the technology space, “we are excited to start the year with an investment in Instart Logic”.
