August 15, 2016Stanford programs prepare underrepresented high schoolers for careers in science, engineering and medicine The Stanford Artificial Intelligence Laboratory’s Outreach Summer program is designed to show rising high school sophomores from underrepresented populations that it’s “cool to be a girl interested in AI.” The Stanford Medical Youth Science Program immerses students in the medical sciences and gives them the tools to address the health and educational disparities that touch many of their communities.
