Staaker drone uses GPS and AI to anticipate your next extreme move

Selfie sticks are so 2015 — what you need is a personal cameraman in the form of a drone, that follows you around. The latest in such semi-autonomous unmanned aerial vehicles for hobbyists is called the Staaker. Three years in the making, Staaker was created by a team of engineers (including former Google X and CERN employees) and extreme sports enthusiasts that consulted with professional production companies on building a camera drone than can shoot epic movies with ease. A unique feature is that is also uses artificial intelligence to predict what you might do next. Like other auto-follow drones, the Staaker uses a GPS wristband to track the user, but that’s where the similarities start to thin out.
