Steve Sommer, president, CEO and chairman of Splunk, Inc., sat down with John Furrier and George Gilbert, cohosts of theCUBE, from the SiliconANGLE Media team, to talk about Splunk’s growth and innovation. Machine learning “There’s a lot of hype, a lot of focus, on machine learning right now, as well as it should be,” said Sommer. “The capabilities and potential is really immense.” Splunk is looking at generic machine learning technology — like algorithms — and also in the security space.
