Sparks-based data firm Spry acquired by WebbMason

Spry Inc. has been acquired by WebbMason Marketing. A full-service marketing agency based in Hunt Valley, WebbMason purchased the Sparks-based Spry for its expertise in big data, data science, and data operations. Spry CEO Brooke Jones has been named president of WebbMason Analytics, a new division that integrates Spry’s resources with WebbMason’s existing analytics team. “With Spry’s analytics integrated into WebbMason Marketing solutions, we immediately become a more valuable resource for our clients,” said Warner Mason, CEO of WebbMason, in a statement. “Data science and data-driven strategies are the new dimension of marketing competition.” Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
