Samsung’s Galaxy S8 said to have ‘slick’ design, better camera, an ‘enhanced’ AI service

In a Wall Street Journal story from this morning about Samsung’s hopes to finally move on from this Galaxy Note 7 fiasco, Samsung’s mobile-communications vice president, Lee Kyeong-tae, of course dropped some buzzwords about the company’s forthcoming Android flagship… Really, none of it is surprising. Lee told WSJ that the next major refresh of its “S” series will feature a “slick design and an improved camera, as well as an enhanced artificial-intelligence service,” according to the report. The first two are unsurprising and mean practically nothing considering that pretty much every phone maker claims slick designs and improved cameras year after year. The mentioned “enhanced artificial intelligence service” might be interesting, although that’s definitely a vague statement.
