Public 702 debate set to kick off on Capitol Hill

The hearing, booked for May 10, will examine renewal of Section 702 of the FISA Amendments Act, set to expire at the end of next year. Story Continued Below The House Judiciary Committee held a closed meeting on the law in February, prompting complaints from civil liberties groups that the law was too important to be discussed by lawmakers in secret.
