Postdoctoral Research Opportunity in Neuroscience at the Hussman Institute for Autism, Employment

The Hussman Institute for Autism is a new independent nonprofit research organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with autism and their families. The Neuroscience research program is located in the Biopark adjacent to the University of Maryland School of Medicine. We are currently recruiting a postdoctoral fellow to study human induced pluripotent stem cell-derived neurons from individuals with autism. The Postdoctoral Fellow will be expected to work in a productive team environment to derive iPS cell lines from a variety of human samples according to established institute protocols. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for stem cell maintenance, expansion and characterization.
