Postdoctoral or junior scientist positions in Neuroscience

Postdoctoral and junior scientist positions are available for exciting research projects supported by NIH and other foundations in the Shriners Hospitals Pediatric Research Center (SHPRC) at Temple University in Philadelphia. The major goals of these projects are to study axon regeneration, neural repair and myelination in the CNS and to develop effective strategies for neural repair. The projects are aimed to: 1) investigate the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying neuronal damage and growth failure in the CNS, and 2) develop novel and effective approaches to promote neuronal regeneration, neural repair, remyelination, neuroplasticity and functional recovery after injuries or in neurodegenerative disorders.
