Pinterest adds ‘visual search’ tool for when you’re unable to say what you’re looking for

Pinterest has harnessed deep learning technology in its new search feature Photo: Pinterest Pinterest has solved the issue of feeling unable to put what you want to search for into words with a new visual search option. The new feature allows you to hone in on specific objects within images and find pins related to it. For example, if you wanted to search for a dress from another users’ pin, selecting the search magnifying glass in the upper right-hand corner and cropping it to the item you want will return visually similar results.
