The primary aim of this project is to generate biological data on the behaviour of a fascinating molecular motor protein known as cytoplasmic dynein. Cytoplasmic dynein is an intriguing and indispensable multi-subunit molecular motor that uses microtubules as tracks to transport intracellular organelles such as endosomes in eukaryotic cells.
