Oracle to acquire Crosswise to boost cross-device data insights for reported M

Oracle has signed an agreement to acquire Crosswise, an Israeli-based machine-learning data company. The move could help develop tech that marketers could use to fulfill the increasing demand for more personalized advertising and experiences.  While Oracle did not disclose the price, a source familiar with the deal told The Times of Israel that the deal is $50 million. Crosswise offers machine learning-based, cross-device data. What that means is folks like marketers and publishers can use that data to make decisions about “cross-device advertising, personalization and analytics,” an Oracle statement said. According to Oracle, Crosswise’s tech can process over a petabyte of user and device data from billions of devices each month.
