ONS mulls commercial data partnership to expand 3rd party sources

Neil Merrett Published 06 January 2017 Prior information notice looks to expand data and information that can be collected from third parties as the body looks to reform the scope of the UK Census The Office for National Statistics (ONS) has published a prior information notice to potentially establish a commercial data partnership to obtain more relevant and timely sources of third party information.  The new project will look at expanding partnerships with commercial data providers to supply more timely information about the UK economy and general population statistics to government organisations.
