Ohio State Camp Gives Teens First Look at Med School

June 29–The 30 teens hanging out on Ohio State University’s Oval on Tuesday were exploring careers in medicine, but they easily could’ve been mistaken for a theater camp. “My hip hurts! Ahhhhh! It hurts!” Danielle Chan, 17, of Worthington, wailed from the ground. Hanna Herrera, 16, of Dublin, asked Chan medical questions as they tried to keep straight faces. A few feet away, Abu Rogers, 17, of Gahanna, explained to his “rescuers,” 15-year-old Deborah Lee of Centerville and 17-year-old Aman Andemichael of Blacklick, that his car had broken down and another car had rammed it as he was checking it out.
