Nvidia takes advantage of Pascal architecture in SDK toolkit updates

Nvidia’s software development kit, or SDK, has gotten quite the facelift. Nvidia announced updates at its annual GPU Technology Conference on Tuesday. The updates take advantage of the new Pascal architecture which “makes it easier than ever for developers to create great solutions for our platforms,” Nvidia said in a blog post. The updates were broken down into seven key areas: Deep learning, accelerated computing, self-driving cars, design visualization, autonomous machines, gaming and virtual reality, or VR. For deep learning, Nvidia explained that its library of primitives for deep neural learning now has Pascal graphics processing unit, or GPU, support.
