2016-01-05 Marie Cabural Home From The Press NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA) Unveils Supercomputer for Self-Driving Cars NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) unveiled a new supercomputer that would boost the in-vehicle artificial intelligence of self-driving cars on Monday. The company said its supercomputer called NVIDIA DRIVE PX 2 allows the auto industry to use artificial intelligence to solve the complexities inherent in autonomous driving. NVIDOA DRIVE PX 2 uses deep learning on the company’s most advanced GPUs for 360-degree situational analysis around the car to determine the exact location of the car, and calculates a safe and comfortable route. In a statement, NVIDIA co-founder and CEO Jen-Hsun Huang said, “Drivers deal with an infinitely complex world.
