Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the College Kevin Kraus said that the proposal for the major is still in the approval process. “This week, [the proposal] went to the three faculty division meetings: humanities, social sciences and science,” Kraus said. “The proposal still needs to go through the academic committee for further discussions and evaluation of its merits.” Professor of Biology Scott Carlson, Assistant Professor of Biology Stephanie J.B.
