MSU to host free public lecture on developing an undergraduate data science curriculum

September 9, 2015 — MSU News Service A free public lecture about developing an undergraduate curriculum in data science will be given Monday, Sept. 21, at Montana State University. Christopher Malone, professor of statistics and data science in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Winona State University in Winona, Minn., will speak at 3:10 p.m. in the Byker Auditorium in the Chemistry and Biochemistry building. His lecture, “Incorporating Data Science into the Undergraduate Curriculum,” is part of MSU’s Mathematical Sciences Colloquium Series.
