Microsoft Corporation Launches Skype For Windows With Built-In Real-Time Translator

Skype Translator is graduating from preview mode and Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) is rolling out the instant-translation tool for all Windows users via the main Skype app. The app works with Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10 PCs. In voice translation mode, Skype supports five languages: Spanish, Mandarin, German, French and Italian. 44 additional languages are supported in the messaging format; the languages include Hebrew, Malay, Portuguese and Russian. Star Trek fans will be delighted to know Skype Translator also translates messages in two variants of the Klingon language.
