News Microsoft Announces New Azure Services During AzureCon By Kurt Mackie 09/29/2015 Microsoft announced a number of new Azure services as part of its AzureCon Web event on Tuesday. The new services are either “announced today,” available at the preview stage or they have reached “general availability” (GA), meaning they can be purchased for commercial use. The AzureCon event consisted of keynote talks by top Microsoft executives, starting with Scott Guthrie, executive vice president for Microsoft’s Cloud and Enterprise division. It ended with a keynote by Jason Zander, corporate vice president of Azure. In addition, there are a number of specific sessions on the new Azure capabilities.
