Machine Learning Turned Normal Pictures Into These Nightmarish GIFs

Learning is a process, after all. Created with Sketch. Sep 12, 2016 Researchers at MIT have used a machine learning algorithm to create predictive video based off of still images. The algorithm can, according to its creators, create “fairly reasonable” videos based within the scene of the original image. Researchers at MIT have previously fed algorithms episodes of The Office and asked them to predict what would happen next. While the computers could not completely grasp Michael Scott’s irony, they were able to guess correctly a fair amount of the time.
