Machine learning is set to become a “game change”‘ in IT infrastructure management. It can predict potential causes of downtime and system slowdowns before they occur and automatically take preventive steps before users even realise there is a problem. Bede Hackney, ANZ managing director, Nimble Storage, said: “These software tools are becoming a game changer when it comes to infrastructure management.
