Long Beach resident creates A.I. sculpture that teaches itself to play music

What if a sculpture was more than a sculpture but a musical instrument? And what if that instrument had artificial intelligence and taught itself to play music? That’s the brainchild of a Long Beach software designer who used musical tubes, software and aluminum cans to create an interactive art piece. So-called “Florasonic” will be on display at the Red Bull Art of Can event next month in Center City, Philadelphia. Did we tell you the aluminum cans were Red Bulls?
