LinkedIn re-endorses Endorsements with relevance and targeting features

LinkedIn — the social platform where people go to network and look for jobs, which is currently getting acquired by Microsoft for $26.2 billion — continues to add more features both to ramp up usage and provide richer data around the 450 million profiles registered on its platform. Today it’s the turn of Endorsements, the part of LinkedIn that lets you and your peers tag your profile with one- or two-word descriptions of professional you. A new version of endorsements, LinkedIn says, will be supercharged with machine learning algorithms to surface endorsements that are more relevant to the person viewing your profile.
