Lecture to discuss neuroscience and dyslexia A lecture on the neuroscience of dyslexia will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 8 at Athena Academy, 525 San Antonio Ave., Palo Alto. MIT professor and researcher John Gabrieli will speak about reading disorders, dyslexia and the brain. He will discuss diagnosis, prognosis, early identification of children at risk for dyslexia and identification of children who may benefit from a specific interventions.
