Japan – Recruit establishes artificial intelligence lab

Daily News View All News 04 November 2015 The Recruit Institute of Technology (RIT), which studies artificial intelligence (AI) for its parent company is establishing a global research and development laboratory in Silicon Valley. In charge will be Dr Alon Halevy, previously with Google Research, who is a world-renowned authority on data management technology and AI. Dr Halevy is a computer scientist, entrepreneur and educator. At Google he was in research and development and worked on Google Fusion Tables, an experimental web application to gather, visualize, and share data tables.
