Is anybody using neural networks for the titanic problem?

I’m using a NN. This is my first Kaggle competition and just the first ML algorithm I’m applying to the Titanic problem. Unfortunately, m submission failed (zero) because, apparently, I don’t yet know what the submission file format is.  I submitted a .txt file with 418 rows each with either a 1.0 or 0.0 in them.  (No header row – saw this go by while the submission screens were spinning by…) Anyway, I was only getting about 80% accuracy on a subset of the training data.  I’m using the NN PY library from PyBrain.  I was using 8 of the provided data columns in the NN.
