Intel may have taken a backseat when it comes to artificial intelligence / deep learning process in competing against NVIDIA during the previous years. But this year will be different as the Silicon Valley-based company is set to unveil a new processor based from its recent acquisition which helped bring them back closer to the AI game – it is called “Lake Crest”. As reported by Martin Schindler posted on German-based website Silicon.de, Intel’s acquisition of deep learning and artificial intelligence company called Nervana last year has led Intel’s big leap in terms of AI contribution this year.
