Intel invests in Artifical Intelligence, acquires South California startup Nervana

Big News Network.com Thursday 11th August, 2016 CALIFORNIA, U.S. – U.S. giant, Intel announced its acquisition of a South California-based artificial intelligence startup, Nervana Systems on Wednesday. Announcing the acquisition in a blog post, Intel data centre group executive vice president Diane Bryant said, “We believe that bringing together the Intel engineers who create the Intel Xeon and Intel Xeon Phi processors with the talented Nervana Systems’ team, we will be able to advance the industry faster than would have otherwise been possible.
