Hewlett Packard Enterprise Launches Machine Learning Developer Platform

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE)’s Haven OnDemand, a machine-centric developer platform, finally hits commercial availability. After two years in beta, the company rolls out its machine learning-as-a-service platform on Microsoft Azure. Haven OnDemand offers enterprises services and APIs to develop data-rich applications. The services include features like text analysis, image analysis, cognitive computing solutions, speech recognition, indexing and search APIs. It also includes a recommendation and prediction API that can be trained for specific use cases. Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s goal is to create a comprehensive collection of APIs covering various aspects of machine learning to offer developers with as broad a set of tools as possible for dealing with contextualized data.
