Elon Musk, the founder of SpaceX and Chief Executive of electric car maker Tesla Motors Inc. (NASDAQ:TSLA) has just been nominated for a Luddite Award, which is given to people who are considered to be against advancements in technology. As weird as it may sound, the person who wants to revolutionize the auto, air, and defense industry has been nominated for such an award. The Guardian reported that the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF), a Washington-based think tank, has shortlisted the visionary CEO for the award. He has been nominated as an ‘alarmist’ touting an artificial intelligence (AI) apocalypse.
