Hellgate High neuroscience whiz succeeds in state, national competitions

MISSOULA -One student at Hellgate High School has a lot on his mind, or rather, a lot on his brain.  Kit Fieldhouse dominated a state competition where students have to answer difficult questions about the vital organ in our heads.  Think you know a lot about your brain? Kit Fieldhouse probably knows more. The Hellgate High School senior took first place at the Montana State Brain Bee in March. The competition challenges students with a variety of neuroscience questions.  “There’s multiple things you do,” Fieldhouse said. “There’s an anatomy portion where they have dissected sheet brains and you have to identify different parts on the sheet brain.
