Grace Wang to Discuss Research in Networking, Data Science and Finance-Related Areas

Grace Wang, Ph.D. Grace Wang, a professor of computer science and a joint professor in both the Ying Wu College of Computing Sciences and Martin Tuchman School of Management, will discuss “Research in Networking, Data Science and Finance-related Areas to the Martin Tuchman School of Management” Oct. 12, 1:30-2:30 p.m. in the Leir Conference Room.  She will first present her research in sensor networks with regard to deployment, reclamation, recharging, and security, then she will present her work in Intelligent Transportation with regard to localization and data dissemination through connected vehicles. After that, Wang will provide an overview of her research in mining user rating data to provide an unbiased recommending system and finally, she will briefly mention her research in identifying trading strategies.
