Google’s newly-launched Magenta Project aims to create art with artificial intelligence

Inspired by the competitive success of AlphaGo and the cultural appeal of DeepDream, Google plans to expand its AI further into the humanities with the creation of the Magenta project.More Artificial intelligence excels at crunching numbers and finding patterns in data, but it isn’t as skilled at intuition or recognizing objects in images. AI typically struggles to accomplish many tasks that we humans find innately easy — but that might not always be the case.
