Google’s Eric Schmidt Crticizes Apple Music, Calls the Streaming Service Elitist

Google’s current CEO and soon to be executive chairman of Alphabet Eric Schmidt penned a rather informative op-ed tracing the roots of Artificial Intelligence beginning when the term was coined to the real-life uses of technology in the present. But, the software engineer and businessman couldn’t resist inserting a slight jab at ferocious competitor, Apple.  Over the weekend, the BBC published Schmidt’s piece as part of the news website’s Intelligent Machine season. The article was titled “Intelligent machines: Making AI work in the real world.” Google has been experimenting with artificial intelligence, particularly deep learning, for years now. Some of its applications, including the famous search engine, are powered by thinking machines so Schmidt has an authority to write about the topic.  The jab at Apple happened on the latter…
