Google Steps Up Machine Learning at Cloud Conference

The big news coming out of the Google Cloud Platform Global User Conference (GCP NEXT 2016) in San Francisco this week revolves around the company’s new machine learning service. Google said that it is releasing its Cloud Machine Learning service in a limited preview — getting ready to drive further advances in artificial intelligence (AI) development. Cloud Machine Learning relies on the open source TensorFlow machine learning library, according to Google. The tool will take machine learning mainstream, offering data scientists and developers a way to build a new class of intelligent applications, the company said.
